Ate at this place last night with two friends and am still very unhappy and regret choosing to eat here! We were welcomed in and seated immediately without booking and it appeared to be a cosy little place with enough space between tables to enjoy privacy. My friends both really enjoyed their meals but I was not so enthusiastic about mine but it was not so bad that I felt the need to complain. However, the bill arrived and was scrawled very unclearly and overpriced and came as a bit of a shock to all three of us. The older female of the staff plonked a charity collection tin on our table and said they were collecting, I think she said for Western Park, but I cannot be sure of that. She came back after a couple of minutes and said "have you done that?" pointing to the collection tin! We questioned the clarity of our bill and were met with abruption from the male at the till, backed by the female mumbling something to him in their native language. It seems the bill was overpiced due to the way overpriced drinks which were not listed on the menu. They had also added a service charge to our bill and when we questioned wether this compulsory there was no reply and just a stare from the male. We settled the bill but we all three were very unhappy about it. I would not recommend this place but if you choose it be aware of what you are paying for! I would also be very interested to know if the collection from that tin goes anywhere outside those premises!
